The programme, Santhvani, will have Pt Joshi singing some of his most popular bhajans like Teertha Vittala Kshetra Vithala, Indrayani Kathi and Jo Bhaje Hari Ko Sada. Says Atul Dev, one of the organisers, "It will be unforgettable. They are coming together after 20 years. Though Hussain usually does only solo shows, he was excited about accompanying Panditji."

The last time the duo performed together was in 1982 for a live concert on television. And even as Ustad Zakir Hussain feels it''s "an honour to perform with a great legend like Panditji," Panditji himself is looking forward to the event. "I have done a number of performances with Ustad Allarakha and it will be a pleasure to perform with Zakir," he says. The concert will be at Dadaji Kondeo Stadium, Thane.
